Badminton/Table-Tennis/Line Dance Sessions on Tuesday Evenings

The school continues to open its badminton courts to parents and teachers every Tuesday evening. Each player contributes $13 a month or $5 a session towards buying badminton shuttle cocks. Besides badminton, parents, teachers and even their children can also play table-tennis nearby.

e-Fingerprint System

Mr Ng commented BPGHS is the 1st school to try out this system and there were initial problems. This system is stable now and it help to reduce teachers' time in checking on manual attendance. The vendor in charge was invited to demonstrate the thumbprint system and interested parents could signed up for a minimal cost fee of $24 per year to access the system.(with one time registration fee of $26 and subsequent years they would only be charged $24.) Parents could access the website with the password given by the vendor to get feedback on their child’s attendance.

Remember the last meeting we mentioned about monitoring the attendance of your child via the e-fingerprint system? The vendor will be here to speak to all of you during the break. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask him.
 
Just need to note: Parents will need to pay a one-time payment of  $13 (inclusive of GST) as registration fee and a fee of $20 for a year's access to the system.

As there were a few parents who were new to the system, Mr Goh and Mr Ko gave a short introduction and suggested that parents who are keen could contact the vendor, NGK Software House (S) Pte Ltd, directly.
